Gail’s Chocolate Cake


  • 125g soft butter
  • 3/4 cup Caster Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Dessert spoons of coco
  • 2 Dessert spoons desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup Self Raising Flour
  • 1 tspn Vanilla


  • Preheat oven to 175 degrees (fan forced)
  • Lightly grease a 20cm baking tin
  • Beat sugar and butter, while it’s beating…
  • Add coconut to milk, stir and allow to stand so milk soaks in
  • Add eggs, and vanilla to bowl with butter/sugar and beat
  • Sift Flour and Coco
  • Add small amounts of flour mixture and Milk mixture alternately to bowl and mix in
  • Bake for 40 – 45 mins

  1. Hey just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a
    few of the pictures aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking
    issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.
